Sir John Jones visiting CEME

Knighted in 2003 for his services to education, Sir John worked most of his professional life in challenging schools across the North West of England, his last post being the head-teacher of a large secondary school in Merseyside.

His achievements and reputation for straight talking, leadership and creativity led him to be invited onto various organizations, panels and think tanks including the National College for School Leadership, the DfES’ Leadership Development Unit, the Teacher Development Agency’s National Remodelling Unit and visiting posts with both Manchester and L iverpool Universities.

Sir John Jones was invited to attend Havering’s Traded Services Conference held at CEME Conference Centre. He was invited to give a motivationalspeech.

The important event was held at East London’s most exciting Auditorium, the POD Theater. More than a hundred people enjoyed Sir John’s inspiring presentation and participated in the Networking afterwards

Sir John Jones was invited by Shola Omogbehin  who is the Head of Education Traded Services at the Nort-East London Trust Foundation (NELFT). The official welcome and showround was however done by the Conference Centre Director, Mr Eamonn Cole and the Event Manager; Ranjith Kumar.

Global education expert Sir John Jones identifies two crucial priorities for school leaders and teachers.
