CAR PARKING AND CHARGING FOR CONFERENCE CENTRE DELEGATES ON THE CEME CAMPUS
From 1st of September 2019, ANPR car parking controls and charges will be introduced on to the CEME Campus due to the increases in users on the site and the imminent arrival of Beam Park main-line station in Marsh Way.
The process that organisers and delegates will need to follow in order for their delegates to pay the discounted £1.00 conference delegate rate is very simple.
- When confirming a booking, organisers will be issued with a special CEME Conference Centre ‘Parking Promo Code’ by the conference centre sales office that they will then need to issue to their delegates attending their meeting prior to the event date
- Delegates attending the event can then go on-line, before the event date, log-in to the Britannia Parking website https://www.britannia-parking.co.uk/book-a-space/step1 enter the CEME location and their car registration number, then the unique promo code number and pay, via debit or credit card, just £1.00 to park on the CEME Campus for the whole day.
- Whilst it is much easier and more preferential for delegates to pre-pay their £1.00 parking charge on-line before their event, they will still be allowed to use the promo code on the day that they attend the meeting or event by again going on-line and following the same procedure. They would be issued with the unique delegate parking promo code upon attending their meeting or event by their organiser or trainer or by being issued with the code from the conference centre. There will also be a special car park login facility on the CEME Conference Centre Wi Fi platform, Purple Wi Fi.
- If delegates do not pre-pay on-line before coming to CEME Conference Centre and they do not obtain and use the unique promo code on the day, they would then be liable to make payment through the pay parking stations when they leave for the prevalent car parking charge rate applicable for the duration of their stay. Anyone leaving the site without having pre-paid on-line or on the day with the promo code who then do not make payment upon exit, would be liable to receive a Parking Charge Notice (PCN).
[Disclaimer- CEME & CEME Conference Centre will not be liable for any Parking Charge Notices incurred by users who fail to comply with the charging arrangements. All issues arising from any PCN or other charges incurred must be directed to Britannia Parking].
Promo codes will be unique for each individual meeting or event for that specific date, so cannot be used more than once and could not be transferred or used multiple times. The ANPR system will deliver a simple and effective charging solution that deploys ‘smart technology’ through which all delegates can pre-pay quickly and efficiently.
The charges are applicable 24/7, including evenings and weekends.
